Couldn't have described it better myself

Since my report on the Senior massacre was a bit lacking, I decided to borrow/steal Dohts'. so to quote:

Oh FiveSO much has gone on, but I feel that I must dedicate this entry to yesterday and the Senior Massacre... So here goes my attempt to put in writing the most amazing experience of my life.

It's 1:15ish on Friday afternoon. Everyone shows up to Hayward field. There are 80+ seniors there by 1:30ish. Everyone is covering themselves in "war paint" (green, yellow & blakc temper paint and face paint) and sproting their Feehan skirts and other various kilts, Irish flags, a sweet Seniors '05 flag, hats and anything else outrageous that you can imagine. We are all taking pictures, filling water guns and balloons, and getting PUMPED for battle. Colin has his bagpipes and Jake has his snare drum. There are so many people there.

Next Colin jumps up on a car and says somethign to the effect of, "we need a plan". He begins outlining the plan of us marching to Feehan for 2:15 him and Jake standing on cars and playing their instruments and us annihilating BFHS. Just as Colin is laying out hte plan Furbush dashes up on hte car next to him and yells,"HOPKINS JUST CALLED O'BOY IS ON HIS WAY"!!!!!!! It was just like a movie! Everyone starts taking off! O'Boy pulls in in his car and starts beeping and yelling. We take off around the field then think better of it and all of us turn and run straight across Hayward field. We go through the neighborhod on the otherside all the time chanting "Seniors Seniors" and "left, left, left, right left" along with other things.

Now we get to the peremeter of Feehan and somehow word gets around that they are locking hte fence around the football field so we can't get through... I don't think that actually happened, but we took no chances. Instead of heading towards the field we cut through these random peoples' yard (theya re outside mind you) and we totally scale this big wooded hill. It was terrific. As we reach the top of the hill Mr. Galligan comes into the woods declaring that he comes in peace. He gets squirted a little, but hte troops quickly let up. He baisically tells us that we an't hurt anyone or be dangerous or destructive. We chant his name because all we do is chant and then we move on. O'Boy gives us a similar speech and encourages us to attend the baseball game after and we agree.

Next Keenan gives us an UNBELIEVABLE speech. This entire event has been based on Braveheart so Keenan gives us a modified version of the Braveheart speech and we are so pumped. Teachers are totally aligning the school jsut waiting. Then kids start coming out adn we attack. The doors to the achool our locked, water is flying, balloons are everywhere, a few smart ass juniors have waterguns but they are no match. Gagnon comes out and starts flipping out which is rediculous since O'Boy and Galligan aren't even mad. THEN the bell rings and more kids come out adn the ambush continues. The underclassmen are soaked.

Seniors march up to the hill singing "We are the Champion" and chanting various things such as "Do Your Homework" and "Seniors" and even "Go Home Larson". And ofcourse there are some slow claps because all we ever do is chant, clap and sing and I love it.

Now we march back through the woods, down the hill, through the yard, across the neighborhoood, over the fild and take a group pic on the bleachers. Then we go back to Hayward and depart. This is the best day ever.

Then senior prank---------------HELL YEAH WE FUCKING ROCK, everyone knows what went down, we now have the best prank in school history. (for those of you who don't, we stormed the school in kilts, face paint, armed with water balloons and super soakers, lead by a snare drum and bagpipes, and took out the school at 2:15. So many good stories) never will we be matched. Teachers were sending kids out of class early to take pictures. Mr. Galligan came out and stopped us to tell us to have fun and not hurt anyone, this was after we stormed the hill. Some juniors had gotten word and came prepared with super soakers of their own, only to get out numbered and wrecked 10:1. We own this school, and Keenan gave the best speech ever.

I'll miss you guys a lot, Seni0r5, never forget.

EmCal's

So....i had a long post about how great Emily Callahan's graduation party was...then it got deleted. Shortened version is this.

Riverside kicked ass
Aston was good
Zox was amazing

good people+good music+good food=great fiesta.

J-Cal's

So, tonight was John Callahan's birthday fiesta. It was tres solid. We played some pool, played some basketball (where fullerton, j-dosi and I, took on 4 or 5 at a time, and still tooled on em), and ate some good food. Presents came and went, I got him Lewis Black on Broadway, and another inside joke gift. Then he announced, or, I forced him to tell everyone, that he is moving....to Atlanta, Georgia.....in a month. WTF Mates, he leaves right after he gets back from France and Spain. I've got to say that this is some of the worst news that I've gotten in a while. However, I told Mrs. Callahan, she's going to have to prepare to have quite a few people staying at her new home down in da South; and she, being the perfect southern women that she is, said the more the merrier. He's gettin back to his ol' South roots, it just sucks he won't be here for the majority of the Summer though......Road Trip anyone?

So....no more high school

This is a weird feeling. I finished my finals yesterday, and had a test to take today. After my first period test i slept in my car waiting for Toleson. Afterward we went to Panera then rented a New Hope and watched it at my house. Fencing later tonight.

But, no more high school....ever. This is so strange. I'm going to miss it so much, I always tell people that deciding to go to Feehan was the best decision I ever made in my life, and after these past four years, that statement has been ratified a million times over. Even the teachers that i didn't like were still great teachers, and there were only a few of them. For the most part I have made a good connection with everyone of my teachers and will miss them all, on one level or another, deeply. I really am going to miss my friends so much though. And obviously I'm going to miss the people I've bonded with the most, but I also have a deep feeling of regret. I regret, a. having lost friends that I made my first two years at Feehan. There are a lot of people, especially in the band, who I used to hang out with on a regular basis and now never ever see. b. I also regret not becoming friends with enough people. There are some really cool people at Feehan, who, in general, I have gotten along with, but never made the effort to become friends with them. I guess I always assumed that i'd eventually get to know them better, but the time is up, there is no more school time to get to know this people. Although I'm leaving Feehan extraordinarily happy with my experiences there, I still have some regrets.

One Day Left?

I can't even fathom that tomorrow morning is the last morning that I sit in the cafe and talk and complain to friends about anything and everything. After tomorrow, there are no more morning cafeteria talks. I can't fathom that after tomorrow, there are no more debates with Mr. Gagnon over my ridiculous conservative principles. There are no more debates. I can't even imagine that after tomorrow, I will never be eating lunch in that cafe as a student again. No more baja chicken, no more breakfast sandwhiches, no more buffalo chicken. There is no more lunch.

These past four years have been amazing. I know that I personally, along with all 240+ members of our class have grown in intellect, spirituality, and maturity. But where has the time gone? I will probably never see most of my class again. I keep making promises that I will keep in contact with too many people, because I know I won't. I know things will fall through, I know that I will have a group of 5-10 friends that I will carry with me throughout life, but that the rest of my friends I will unfortunately not see again.

I'd just like to take the time now to say that these past four years have been more than amazing and that I want to thank Bishop Feehan and the class of '05 for making my journey through high school as great as concievably possible.

Fencing Practice

Last two nights have consisted of me going to fencing and getting some kind of dinner.

Last night, Tuesday, I went with Chris to Prise....I had to drive all the way down to friggin Attleboro to get him. We went, there was some good fencing, Brain showed up, got my ass whooped on by him, as did Daria. She dislocated her should about 8 touches into our bout, so that ended quick. I was fencing all that well, but still getting a lot of touches, probably a lot that I didn't deserve. Afterwards we went out to dinner, Eskin, Chris, Dave, and Ariana. During the meal, I got my conservative ass handed to me by Ariana, on every issue I ever thought I knew anything about....even the RCC. So, I gained a new nickname, because after a while, I would just shove food into my face because nothing was going my way, thus I am call Ostrich-a.k.a. the bird that sticks its head in the sand in a time of danger.

Tonight, Wednesday, was decidedly less eventful. Again I took up Chris, who this time got a ride to my house. Will Baker showed up, only sabre fencer there. He's a really cool kid, and Dave was having some fun with him on his relationship situation. Fenced some foil afterwards and went home. Ariana couldn't give me the lesson I was planning on because she.....pulled her ass muscle- I didn't ask.

Prom

Prom was this weekend and it was a lot of fun. Showed up to Jess' house at about 3:45, took some pictures, the parents talked a little, but then we left for Joanne's pretty quick. We were the first couple to show up, but people started to roll in quicly after that. While there, we took, and I'm not kidding, eleventy billion pictures. Then we took a stretch Excursion to Prom, a 20 passenger and a 14 pasenger. The ride there was good. Got to the dance, ate, took way too many groups pics, danced, had a lot of fun and headed off for Meg's. At Meg's (after stopping to pick up Belgian Waffles), we ordered some pizza, talked forever, and eventually it died down. Everyone seemed to be asleep around 4:30. Then got up, drove Jess home, dropped off my tux, saw Brad while he was dropping off his, and came home, where I slept for 5 hours.
